We have developed a new adventure & community tourism product as a part of our holding enterprise, Bhutan Impact Travels. The event is an international enduro biking event, scheduled for the first Saturday of every December, with the inaugural year being 2020 at Limbukha, Punakha.
Bhutan Impact Travels designs and leads customized journeys that offer visitors deeper, more meaningful immersion experiences into the Kingdom of Bhutan’s rich culture, pristine environment and vibrant community.
100% of profits go directly to the Tarayana Foundation, a philanthropic organisation that seeks to build a happy and prosperous Bhutan by helping vulnerable and disadvantaged communities to help themselves. Our conservation-minded itineraries take great care to interact responsibly with the Kingdom; this means sensitivity to the pristine environment, the indigenous culture and the well being of local people.
Our itineraries emphasise community based tourism, natural beauty, indigenous traditions, and adventure sports.

All visitors to Bhutan require a visa
Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals can obtain a visa at the port of entry on producing a valid passport with a minimum of 6-month validity (Indian nationals may also use their Voters Identity Card (VIC).
All tourists visiting Bhutan must obtain Bhutanese visa prior to your travel to Bhutan. Bhutan Impact Travels will process your Visa to Bhutan through an online system once your trip is confirmed by making full Payment besides other arrangements.
You are required to send the photo-page of your passport to your tour operator who will then apply for your visa. The visa will be processed by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) once the full payment of your holiday (including a US$40 visa fee) has been wire transferred and received in the TCB bank account. Once received, the visa clearance will be processed within 72 working hours.
You are required to show your visa clearance letter where it will be stamped into your passport at any point of entry to Bhutan.
We also do make arrangements for Air tickets for the same trip on your request.

The system facilitates the online processing of permits for regional tourists through registered Bhutanese tour operators. The facility is offered as an optional channel to process permits for visitors from the region and is applicable for entry from Paro and Phuntsholing.
